Devised and managed by John Cristian Productions, the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols is one of Australia’s largest broadcast concert events.
We work in partnership with Brisbane City Council and Nine Network – to present a magical celebration of Christmas and an Australian platform for the most exciting and exceptional musical talent.
Headline artists included, Reece Mastin, Melinda Schneider, Luke Kennedy (The Ten Tenors), star tenor Rossario La Spina and Anna – Maria La Spina, ABC KIDS Lah-Lah, Marika Aubrey (Matilda the Musical), The Koi Boys, Jess & Matt, cabaret performer Naomi Price and Australia’s Junior Eurovision 2016 representative, Alexa Curtis. International guests include virtuoso Oud player Joseph Tawadros and Nebraskan soul blues artist, Angela Fabain.
The Carol’s orchestra and choir was conducted by John Foreman (OAM), joined by guest ensembles: The 7 Sopranos, Voices of Birralee Children’s Choir, Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra and Queensland Festival Chorus.
