Devised and managed by John Cristian Productions, the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols is one of Australia’s largest broadcast concert events.
We work in partnership with Brisbane City Council and Nine Network – to present a magical celebration of Christmas and an Australian platform for the most exciting and exceptional musical talent
Headline artists included, Rhonda Burchmore, Aria award winning songstress Katie Noonan, ABC KIDS band Lah-Lah, soul diva Paulini, soul-blues singer Mahalia Barnes, Luke Kennedy, Angela Fabian, church leader Darlene Zschech, Opera Queensland’s Virgilio Marino, Opera Australia’s Julie Lea Goodwin, Jazz chanteuse Emma Pask, Eurovision representative Isaiah, Ellen Reed, Luke Antony, diversity ambassador and super model Madeline Stuart and from New York City, RnB sensation, Polo.
Guest groups included virtuoso guitar duo the Grigoryan Brothers, Back to Back Gospel, Chukale – Afro Cuban Salsa Ensemble and Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra.
The concert will featured a symphony orchestra directed and conducted by John Foreman, alongside guest ensembles: Voices of Birralee – Youth Choir, Vocal Manoeuvres Carols Choir and the Carols Dancers.
