British comedian John Cleese — a Monty Python original, master of silly walks, Fawlty Towers madman and lemur namesake — presents the presents the New Zealand debut of his one-man show, My Life Times and Medical Problems, a multi-character outing featuring, he says, “various Cleese underlings, flunkeys, retainers, sidekicks, minions, cat’s-paws and cronies. Bill Brown, a Royal Shakespeare Company alumni, directs.

Cleese rose to fame with his British co-horts (Graham Chapman, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin) on television’s Monty Python’s Flying Circus and the comedy troupe’s subsequent films. He also created the popular Brit hit TV show Fawlty Towers. Other credits include A Fish Called Wanda, Shrek 2, a recurring guest role on Will & Grace, as Q in recent James Bond films and playing Nearly Headless Nick in the Harry Potter movies.
