About
A four-week exploration of Cuban music and dance held in conjunction with the Queensland Performing Art’s Centre’s season of Ballet Nacional de Cuba and the Brisbane Festival.
Themed on the legendary music bars of old Havana that served the likes of Brando, Monroe and Hemingway, Havana Club featured the finest international and Australian Latin bands mixing it up with top AfroCuban DJs.
In a nightly cocktail of rumba rock, salsa, songo, chachachá and aphrodisiac mambo, audiences also enjoyed authentic Cuban cocktails and food.
